Issues
- Installation does not work. In Cedega, it starts, (defaulting to /tmp) but freezes partway through. In WINE, it crashes on startup.
- To bypass, copy the Akuma directory on the CD to someplace on the hard drive, and add the following to the relevant system.reg:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\Trigger Soft] 1145482052 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\Trigger Soft\\Akuma] 1145482052 @="" "Akuma Install"="C:\\Program Files\\Akuma" "Akuma CD"="F:\\"
- (Of course, change the location of the CD and install directories to the correct locations. You can get the location of the cd from the install program.)
- In both Cedega and WINE, there are three "file not found" errors on startup. These appear to be movies, and should not affect the game.
- In Cedega, the game fails to find the CD, no matter what the CD location is set to in the registry.
- In WINE, the game starts up and menus work. However, the game is so slow as to be unplayable. (Several seconds per frame.)
