Consideration for deletion

Why does this category exist? No games are in this category. This category is not listed in the Adding a Game page. Jpotelle 19:39, 13 May 2007 (EDT)

You've got a very good point - this is probably some chaff accidentally left behind when we were working on making the 'working' categories, and could very well be deleted. Then again, there are some games that work -perfectly- now, and this could be very good place to put them. Anybody else have any thoughts? - Pacula 08:51, 15 May 2007 (EDT)

Delete: I don't think there are more than a couple dozen commercial games that work without bugs in Cedega without messing with config files, or no-cd patches. Also, if we do add this category, I'd want specific testing guidelines. (For example, testing on multiple machines, (ATI and Nvidia machines especially) testing for a specific amount of time, testing multiplayer, etc.) Evilmrhenry 19:52, 16 May 2007 (EDT)

I don't like this category, too. I'm not sure that this category is even right under windows. I haven't seen any good big game without issue list in readme.txt. There are allways some issues with some specific hardware. This discussion will bring up question about "Working/partially working category". In my mind, game is working when it runs under linux on nvidia gpu using bullet-proof soundhardware like sb live or sb audigy.

No, I would not delete if it were up to me. Games that are played should be revisited. Maybe a game works now that didnt before, or works perfectly now that was once buggy. Some games work perfectly for a time, and then when the company patches them, they become that way. Dig out some old games and see if they work better now than before.
