[edit]
Issues
- Game will hang during intro sequence due to an issue with the sound system. Occurs at point when the wizard dies.
- Sound is broken and as a result when you go to perform most actions it will cause the game to crash. Appears to be an issue detecting the correct sound subsystem. This is a known problem with Windows XP as well, similiar the game also fails to play correctly under dosbox.
[edit]
Fixes
- Press enter to skip the intro sequence where the fault occurs.
- Solutions suggested for Windows XP to allow the game to correct detect sound do not as yet appear to work for wine or cedega.

Description
Game is based on Terry Pratchet's books about Discworld. In this the second game you play Rincewind, a wizard of the Unseen University and you have to find DEATH who is missing. The result of this problem is that no one is dying and instead are coming back to life, a most unfortunate circumstance for any wizard who has just died. Object of the game is to collect certain materials to allow the ritual to call DEATH to be performed.
