Issues
- Installer does not work properly - game must be installed in Windows and copied over to play. Copy over the entire WildTangent directory, and then run the Fate.exe in the WildTangent/Apps/GameChannel/Games/[GUID] subdirectory.
- In order to avoid a couple of related crash problems, move, rename, or delete the TOWN/WATER.avi and WATER/dark.avi files, located relative to the Fate.exe file.
- The game seems to run considerably slower than in Windows, though is still playable if one leaves the resolution at the game's native 1024x768, and turns down the details on the options menu.
- At the moment, there does not seem to be a way to unlock the full version of the game in Linux. Doing so on Windows involves IE and several ActiveX controls, so this likely won't work until Cedega supports these. Copying over a registered version of the game does not work, as the simulated Windows environment provided by Cedega will not match the actual Windows environment that the game was unlocked in, so the game ignores the previous unlock key. Also note that none of the known 'cracks' for the game will work, so at the moment there is NO known way to play the full game in Linux.

Description
Fate is a 3D action/RPG very similar to the Diablo series of games, and is definately one of the best "Diablo-clones" created yet.
