Issues

• The installer takes a very long time to copy the data from the CDs.
• The installer forgets to copy IGI2.exe from the CD. Copy this file manually to the install directory IGI 2/pc/, otherwise Point2Play will not be able to start the game,
• Point2Play does not start the game, and Cedega emits this error message:

/usr/lib/transgaming_cedega//winex/bin/wine: can't exec 'igi2.exe': error=21

• The patch for version v1.2 (UK) is simple a zip file, unzip it and overwrite all the files.
• The v1.3 beta patch also crashes with the error=21 message.
• The demo installer also forgets to copy IGI2.exe. The demo also crashes with the dreaded error=21 message.
• A NO-CD patched exe also exits with error=21. Hm?

Description

IGI 2: Covert Strike is a 3D stealth-based first-person shooter game with a dense story featuring David Jones, a former SAS member.

The second part in the series takes place soon after the events from the previous title and continues the plot.

With a full arsenal of weapons and toys, the hero will need to infiltrate a variety of locations, combat or avoid the enemy and get out to safety again. Hacking is much a part of the game as well as snipering or shooting enemies.
