Issues

• For some reason the installer refused to accept CD 2 during the installation process. The issue was resolved by copying the whole CD to the harddisk and adjusting the search path. Everything worked fine afterwards. [Note by battyone -- This wasnt an issue for me, YMMV]

• Using the latest versions [5.0+] of Cedega with the JA+ mod installed (Any public version) will cause the program to lock up during map load at the "Awaiting Gamestate" screen. Solution is to use 4.3.3.

• Using JediAcademy with p2p and pre 4.3.3 versions of Cedega will not allow you to launch the game [launcher complains about a DirectX issue, then will go no further]. Attempting to launch the game in its safe mode does not correct [direct launch of executables].

• On the first run of the demo installer, it reports an error: "cannout open BHjediacademey.exe" after the gamespy advertisment screen. Launching the installer again after that error/crash will allow installation to proceed.

Description

Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy allows the player to take the role of a young student at Luke Skywalker's Jedi Academy. Fight together with Kyle Katarn against the dark side. Players can create their own characters by chosing characteristics like species, gender and clothing. It is also possible to alter the look of your lightsaber.
