Issues
- Sound or music in videos or game play might be missing.
- Sometimes sound would stop working after playing a while with ALSA.
- When in menu-mode (Inventory screens etc) some text areas would be slowly flashing.
- Using (driver level) FSAA causes some minor edge corruption on parts of the GUI.
- Mouse might stop working.
- Mouse look seems 100% broken since upgrading to Xorg 7.0.
[edit]
Fixes
- To get sound and music in the game and videos you should start the launcher and let it finish playing the startup tune, then select No 3D sound in the 3D Sound menu/button.
- To cure the broken mouse bring up the full-screen GUI. Quickly pressing Esc twice became my preferred quick-fix.
- I couldn't get mouse look to work with Xorg 7.0 and had to install Xorg 6.9 in a separate partition/chroot.
- The mouse-look bug is now fixed Xorg 7.0 CVS and should filter down to released packages soon.
[edit]
Notes
- OSS seems to work better.
- Be careful when selecting characters eligible for the different career paths as you can not change that once you have completed the quest without a save-game editor.

Description
First-person role-playing game where you control a team of four adventurers and several hired NPCs as you travel through both indoor and outdoor areas in the land of Chedian, clearly inspired by the lands of 8th century Norsemen . Multiple career paths and different skills & spells to choose from. The game uses the Lithtech 3D game engine but sadly 3D0 didn't have time to polish the game before they went out of business.
