Issues
- Game has the same video and game-choppiness issues as Tribunal, although it seems to be quite a bit more fluid.
- The "Data Files" menu from the pre-game launcher does not work properly, making it difficult to play any unofficial mods. Edit the morrowind.ini" file to enable plugins by adding them like
GameFile2=YourPlugin.esp. - Running the game under win2k or winxp will slow the game down so much that it becomes pretty much unplayable. We are talking loading times in minutes (instead of fractions of a second) here. Run it with
winver=win98to avoid this issue. Later versions of Morrowind (v1.2 etc) will not run under win98 due to issues with the Copy protection - either use a NO-CD crack (including dummy video files!) or run an older version of Morrowind, although I would not recommend this.
