Issues
Directhex 20:29, 01 Jan 2005 (GMT):
- Game will fail to load with sound subsystem errors unless intro movies are disabled from the launcher configuration.
- Game will not run correctly unless animated loading screens are disabled from the launcher configuration - hangs at loading screen (fix courtesy Pacula)
- Music functional, no sound effects
- Menu text can sometimes become garbled, restart game to fix
- Game unstable on high detail, medium is fine (pixel shaders fully functional)
- 3D models drawn incorrectly, 'sections' such as hands are dislocated from wrists, knees in the wrong place, etc (hitboxes still mostly work, so you CAN play through the game). This problem effects only player and weapon models, terrain is unaffected.
- Mouse can misbehave in-game, enter options screen, poke about with mouse configuration, re-enter game, mouse control should come back eventually
- Demo requires all full-game fixes in order to enter the main menu.
- Demo requires deactivation of hardware cursor in order to click within the main menu.
- Demo crashes upon starting a new game.
