New in this release
- Fixed a bug for distros using SubFS where CDROMs were not detected properly. (One such distro affected is SuSE 9.1)
- When installing a game, user can now edit the WineX configuration that will be used during the install. Also, the program group to install to now defaults to the one selected.
- Add new "Debug" button, which makes generating traces from games much more convenient. You can choose to output to a file, to the console, or both. This is mainly for generating debug logs for TransGaming to help resolve support requests.
- The "All" program group is now selected by default on start up, so all your games are immediately available.
- User can now decrease the WineServer process priority, which may help the speed of some games. If your game is running slowly, try this option.
- User can disable or enable POSIX Threads (Pthreads) on a game to game basis
- User can now configure which sound card (specially, which DSP and Mixer device) to use for sound.
- Fix mounting of CD-ROM/DVD-ROM drives whose device has multiple mount point entries in the system's fstab
- Improvements to the "Stop WineX" functionality to also terminate other possible hangabout WineX processes.
- Other incremental bug fixes.

Known Issues
- Distributions such as SuSE 8.2 and Debian Unstable use a version of pthreads which only allows for a 2 megabyte per thread stack size. Most games do not require more than 2 megabytes per thread, however some games such as Metal of Honor: Allied Assault do require more than 2 megabytes and will not work. If you use any release of Cedega or a release of WineX more recent than 3.2 then you can play without pthreads and not face this limitation ; however, WineX versions 3.0 and 3.1 DO require pthreads and will suffer from the limitation described.
You can see if your distribution has this issue by running the "Test if POSIX Threads (pthreads) Are Required" test in the "System Tests" tab in Point2Play.
- Renaming a Program Group may affect game functionality as there is a slight chance that renaming a program group could affect the functionality of the games contained in it, especially regarding registry entries with UNIX paths rather than Windows paths.
