Issues
- In Cedega:
- Installation program freezes at 3.5% or so.
- Once installed, the splash screen is displayed for a second before crashing.
- In Wine 0.9.1:
- Installation program crashes at start.
- Once installed, the game mostly works. Problems:
- Many (but not all) ship models are replaced by placeholder cubes.
- Sound problems. Turn off unit acknowledgements to prevent loss of sanity.
- Game runs in software mode, with no visible way to change to hardware.

Installation
- To install:
- Create a folder somewhere. (As Armada does not use the registry for anything important, location does not matter too much.)
- Open up the cdrom, and go to the setup directory.
- Copy over all files in that directory, except for setup.exe and SLA.txt. (Not the directories, just the files.)
- Copy over the following directories:
- bmp
- ico
- URL
- wav
- Move into the setup/shared directory on the cd and copy MSVCP60.DLL over to the hard-drive folder.
- Go to the setup/data directory, and copy over all files and folders.
- The game is now installed, and can be run using wine 0.9.1.
