Mission CDs

Ideas or workarounds for installing the mission CDs? --Rdo 17:40, 2 Dec 2004 (CET)

I assume you are talking about The Aftermath and/or Counterstrike? I do not own these CDs. Perhaps you could inform us of the problem and what does or doesn't work? Because I have no real idea on how to respond on your post. It lacks information. Please try to provide some more details.

Well, I haven't tried it for a while. But I remember that neither Aftermath or Counterstrike worked for me. IIRC, the game said it couldn't detect the CDs, but there might have been even more problems. I'll try again when I find time. --Rdo 16:24, 3 Dec 2004 (CET)

Sure thing. Perhaps it can be fixed with a no-cd crack or something similar. Perhaps you tried to install it in a new Point2Play game-layout? Some people forget that the settings are stored in different directories. (Of course it would be possible that you used Point2Play.)

Doesn't work with cedega 4.3.2 (or 4.0.1)

I have tested the demo and it doesn't work with cedega 4.3.2 It starts fine, the installer works (but spawns 2) When i go into a map, i can play for 10 sec then it freezes and an error box pops up.

I use the default config from Point2Play 2.0.1

Anything i missed or it just doesn't work ?
