You have "446 TOTAL GAMES"? Holy shit and I thought I spent way to much money on games :)

At first I wanted to ask you to add the list here (so that it can be interlinked), but that would be way too much work (unless one used a script :)

That's not even all of my collection - only the part of it that I have unpacked and on display. Also, there's a lot of games that I have that aren't even in IGN's database - I put 'alternate' versions of with notes explaining what I really have when I could, but there's a lot that aren't listed at all, a couple dozen at least. I've got a pic of 'the wall" that I'll dig out and post in a bit. (And yeah, I'm obsessive.) :)

That's awesome! :o) I guess my transition to Linux (many games don't work) and the crappy demos (bad demo = no sale) prevented me from blowing equal amounts of money on games :) Thanx for your obsession and work!

Pacula, I don't like the change to the "Star Wars" category - it falls under the same idea as "Homeworld Series" - it encodes the category into the title of the page, which it shouldn't do. Please read my comment on Category_talk:Games regarding this. Tels 23:06, 12 Oct 2004 (CEST)

Heh, why are you deleting so many of the category, f.i. Serious Sam? :-(

Tels 15:58, 2 Dec 2004 (CET)

We decided that we had too many categories that weren't really needed. For instance, the first person shooter, etc categories. They are useless in my opinion. I also do not see the need to have a category for each game. What's the point? I would only group a game in a series category if there are like 3 or 4 games and more. Need for Speed for example or the Sims. Those are series. So we deleted them because we thought there was an excess of categories.

We would like to discuss Aravi's idea and see if we can think of a good way to sort games and their problems so that the TransGaming team has a way of finding out which problems occur a lot. You can follow this discussion in Category_talk:Issues

See User_talk:Tels.

Why should all notes about native versions at the top? They are easily overlooked there, and really belong at the bottoms, after the game info table, along with all the other notes. IMO The game info table should be always the first thing on a game page.

I got an idea for Splinter Cell. If I remember correctly, Splinter Cell and Ghost Recon are both games from UbiSoft. It is possible that SC will need same trick as Ghost Recon. Have a look Ghost Recon.

Pasword reset

User SWAT83 just PMed me to reset his password. Can you take care of that? Evilmrhenry 13:17, 10 August 2006 (EDT)

On closer inspection, I believe the mailserver on this machine is not working. Evilmrhenry 13:01, 11 August 2006 (EDT)

Sorry for taking so long to get back to you on this (been both busy and "busy" - work and WoW :) ). The password-reset-via email system /should/ be working on this server (it certainly /had/ been working), but since it was NOT working on Omega's server, a lot of people do not have an email set in their account. To reset the password for accounts like this, I need to manually inject a valid email into the wiki's user database. If the request was sent to you via the TG forums, could you forward the request to me so I know precisely who it was? - Pacula 09:47, 13 August 2006 (EDT)

Fowarded. The reason I don't think the email system is working is that the email confirmation button does not send me an email. Evilmrhenry 13:08, 13 August 2006 (EDT)
