WineX
From Unofficial TransGaming Wiki
WineX was the original name of TransGaming's software that allows the playing of many Windows games on Linux. As of version 4.0, WineX was officially renamed to Cedega.
It contains many parts from the Wine-Project (before the license change to LGPL), hence the name WineX. The X stands either for "eXtended" or stems from the "X" in DirectX.
